16:15    Station-145 was alerted for a smell of gas within a residence at 20 Colonial Drive in Mt.Vernon. Engine-145 responded with 3 and ESU-145 with 3. Chief-145 assumed command. Fans were placed to ventilate the home. After ventilation the gas company arrived on scene and checked the home. All units were then cleared from the scene.
