19:00    With the eminent snow storm approaching, the Elizabeth Township fire companies were put on Emergency Standby.  Rightfully so as the snow piled up over 20+ inches around the township.  Station-145 personnel worked selflessly around the clock responding to various calls including: checking the welfare of the elderly and disabled, assisting in tree removal, medical assists, wires down, transformer fires, etc.  Hats off to all Station-145 Fire Fighters, our dedicated Active Members of the company, and all the other Elizabeth Township Volunteer Fire Companies.  Also, many thanks to friends and family who provided our personnel with food and other amenities as they lived in station throughout the week.
